Inspired both by heavy metal and classical music (ancient and contemporary), as well as heathen and celtic cultures, mediaeval world and occultism, Marcelo Miranda (Arum) and his wife Fernanda Ferretti decide to come together as a guitar duo, trying to search for a unique identity, developing their own songs by mixing their influences and individualities.
As suggested by their great friend Paullus Moura (Morcrof), the cabalistic name Olam Ein Sof (World of the Infinites) is accepted, which fits faultlessly in the duo proposal. Besides the guit
ar, vocal and percussion elements are added to their compositions.
By the year 2002, Olam Ein Sof record a self-labelled Demo-Cd, containing 4 songs: Olam Ein Sof, Hecate Chant, Lost in the Darkest Forest and Reverie Castle.
In the beggining of the year 2004 Olam Ein Sof record their debut full length album. Bringing the concept of a mystical journey of the celtic nation, Olam Ein Sof then releases Immram. Each of the thirteen songs shows a phase of a warriors saga until his death, culminating with the rise of his future heir. And, in order to improve this piece, some other instruments were added, such as flutes, violins and keyboards.
In 2005, Olam Ein Sof releases a new Cd, Celtic Mythology, in a partnership with the brazilian singer, Margarete Aquila. The label that done this release was Ana Marie´s Solitudes
The band releases in february 2006, by a brazilian distro called Anaites ZDP, a cd demo, Dark Moon, with 3 new songs, one re record song from the first album and one celtic traditional song. It was also included their first demo and a live video for "The Arrival", from the first Cd too.
In april 2006, a new member joined to the group, the percussionist Marcos Reis and in January 2007, the bassist David Suria became the newest member.
In april 2007 Olam Ein Sof signed with the UK label Emania Productions.
